Sharing is caring, ma mica è buonismo: ottimizzazione risorse cognitive e linguistiche.

Scritto ora fresco fresco per Tweetaliano, ma mi sembrava sensato condividerlo anche qui:

A Tweetaliano puoi chiedere tutto quello che ti interessa per imparare l’Italiano, quando e dove vuoi.

Ma non è finita: studi psicolinguistici [Craik & Tulving 1975] dimostrano che ci ricordiamo molto meglio quello che codifichiamo in maniera più profonda: per quanto riguarda le lingue, questo significa che ricordiamo meglio le parole che colleghiamo ad altre parole, a persone, ad un evento.
Quando impari una parola o un’espressione nuova, condividila su Tweetaliano! Mandare intenzionalmente un tweet in cui la racconti, la definisci, la colleghi magari ad una foto che hai appena fatto con il tuo smartphone è un modo per aiutarti a ricordare più efficacemente la montagna di parole nuove a cui sei esposto/a quotidianamente!

Così facendo avrai modo di tenere traccia dei tuoi progressi linguistici: tra qualche anno sarà divertente tornare indietro tra i tuoi tweet e dire “Guarda! Il giorno in cui ho imparato…!”

E non solo! Tutto quello che condividerai con Tweetaliano sarà a disposizione anche degli altri tweetaliani/e, così che loro possano magari imparare qualcosa grazie a te. Questo significa anche che tu avrai a disposizione parole ed espressioni nuove condivise da tuuuutti gli altri: non parole che escono dalla lista di un libro, ma parole ed espressioni in contesto, che vengono da qualcuno che proprio come te che sta imparando, come te, insieme a te.

Se poi qualcuno chiede qualcosa che tu già sai, potrai aiutarlo tu, come prima qualcuno ha aiutato te. Anche questo è un modo per consolidare i tuoi progressi linguistici: riutilizzare quel pezzettino di lingua che hai precendentemente imparato, infatti, è un altro modo per codificarlo e memorizzarlo in maniera ancora più profonda, così da non dimenticarlo più!

But it’s not over: studies in psycholinguistics [Craik & Tulving 1975] demonstrate we remember much better what we encode most deeply: for what concerns languages, this means we remember better words we connect to other words, people, events.
Whenever you learn a new word or a news expression, share it with Tweetaliano! Intentionally tweeting in which you tell about it, you define it, that you connect it to the attached picture you just took with your smarphone it’s a way to help yourself remembering more effectively the bunch of new words you are exposed to on a daily basis!

By doing so, you’ll have a chance to keep track of your language progresses: in a few years it’s going to be interesting and fun to go back among your tweets and say “Look! The day in which I learned…!”

Not only! Everything you’ll share with tweetaliano will be available also to other tweetalians, so that they might learn something thanks to you. This also means that you will have at your fingertips new words and expressions shared by aaaaaaaall the rest of the community: not words coming from a list on a book, but words and expressions in context, coming from someone that just like you is learning, like you, with you.

This is also a way to consolidate your own language progresses: re-using that small piece of language you previously learned, in fact, it’s another way to encode it and memorize it even more deepely, so not to forget it anymore!
